ACE's S.T.E.P. program uses NFTE curriculum to teach adolescent youth how to build and maintain businesses. In year one students are taught the fundamentals of starting a business. By the end of the Basic section, students will be able to prepare an income statement, understand marketing basics, perform cost benefit analysis, and calculate return on investment. Students will also learn what it means to be an entrepreneur and how they can use their unique skills and talents to start a small business venture. At the conclusion of the term, students will be ready to apply the entrepreneurial concepts learned by completing a Basic Business Plan. Our vision is to create a culture of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial thinkers. Youth between the ages of 11 and 19 are instructed in the skills of entrepreneurship. Benefits to our students are increased academic, technology, business, and interpersonal skills.
